The Evening Eclipse Adopt-a-Bat Program
Everyone at Evening Eclipse has a deep, dark love for those little creatures of the night who are misunderstood and feared above all else. The Bat is a global symbol of our darkest fears yet they are an essential part of our eco-system that we as humans cannot live without. Bats are continually killed due to myths, superstition and fear, even though they eat millions of bugs nightly, and bring us approximately 450 commercial products.
Everyone at Evening Eclipse felt it was time to take a stand and do what we could to help out the bat population. Here in Texas we have a Bat Sanctuary that has gone above and beyond the call of duty in saving these amazing animals, they went so far as to even purchase an old building where literally thousands of bats took up residence (and was scheduled for demolition) just to save them.
The Evening Eclipse Adopt-a-Bat Program allows you to help us help out these beautiful creatures. When you purchase $80 worth of Evening Eclipse Products (including at least one Bat Fragrance product), we will donate $35 to Adopt-a-Bat in your name via the Bat World Sanctuary. Not only will you be purchasing our great products but you will be helping a bat (of your choice) in need and receiving some great adoption items in the process. What do you need to do?:
Just purchase $80 worth (before shipping costs) in a single order of our Evening Eclipse Products, making sure you have at least one Bat Fragranced Product. During checkout enter the Name of the Bat (exactly as you see it on this page) you wish to sponsor in the "Discount Code" section of the checkout page. This process will record which Bat you are sponsoring (so you receive the proper items) and it will take $1 off your order.
What will Evening Eclipse will do?:
Once your payment is received, we will donate $35 of your order to sponsor the Bat you selected. Once the items you purchased are ready for shipment we will pack up your order with all of your items and the following items related to your sponsored Bat:
- A personalized adoption certificate.
- A matted 5" x 7" glossy photograph of your bat.
- Your bat's personal story.
- A graphic representing the size of your bat.
- The natural history of the species.
